Blue Spruce Toolworks Butt Chisels are some of the finest quality chisels available today. They are ideal for woodworkers who like to work close to their work piece. They excel at chopping dovetails as well as mortising hinges and working inside confined spaces. They are great "go-to" chisels for many tasks. Made with both a strong socket and a deep tang construction, they are strong and nicely balanced. The overall length of the chisels is about 6-1/2 inches. They are available in nine blade widths from 1/8 inch to 1-1/2 inch, four different handle styles, four wood choices for the handles and two finishes for the ferrules. The maple handles are hard, figured maple that has been infused with acrylic resin. This makes an extremely dense and tough handle that can take pounding from a mallet. Optional Cocobolo and African Blackwood handles are only available to USA customers.
