Inspection Square

Blue Spruce's new Inspection Square improves visibility without sacrificing strength. With the beveled edges, you can clearly see if your material matches the blade, but the 1/8" thick stainless steel machined core has a strength and durability you won't find in a thinner blade. The first time you handle this tool, your first impression will include the word "mass". The beam scales are machined from 416 stainless steel and then treated with a black nitride surface finish. They are pinned to the core with stainless dowels, creating a reliable reference surface, individually tested to be well within 0.001" over the length of the blade.

 
The beveled edge also shines when doing layout work. Your pencil's edge has a solid guide, but not one that requires you to bring your pencil in at an odd angle. And when checking cuts on your material, the bevel clearly reveals any misalignment in your setup.  

You can get the Blue Spruce Inspection Square with your choice of infused figured maple or Bolivian rosewood for the inlay.

The 6" long blade is 1-1/8" wide and 1/8" thick, solid stainless steel.  The stock is 3-3/4" long and 4" total when you add in the protruding blade.  It is 13/16" thick and protected with a Black Nitride finish.  It is an impressive 1.14 lbs.

Also included with the Inspection Square is a wall-mountable Rack-It for easy storage.
