With tall, parallel-ground blade profiles (and a square profile on the 1/2" model), these chisels self-guide through deep mortises to keep your cuts perfectly straight.

Outstanding Edge Retention & Precision Preparation
Crafted from A2 tool steel, each blade undergoes double-tempering and cryogenic treatment to achieve a Rockwell hardness of C-60 to C-62. This process creates an ultra-fine grain structure for an edge that takes and holds an extreme sharpness. Unlike standard chisels that demand hours of lapping and sharpening, Blue Spruce Chisels arrive surface-ground, lapped, and polished to a mirror finish—ready for serious work out of the box. Each primary bevel is precision-ground to 30°, with a hand-honed 35° micro bevel.
