A New Adenture

Welcome to Your Finest Work. This will be a place where we can share ideas primarily about design and craftsmanship, woodworking and tools. Six years a go I started on an adventure to build my own company. Blue Spruce Toolworks has taken root and has grown to be a well respected manufacturer of high quality hand tools for woodworkers. I am proud of how far we have come and I am excited about the future and all of its possibilities. However, during this 6 years I have not been able to pursue one of my other passions which is woodworking itself. I love to design, and build. I love to use my hands to create beautiful things. And I love to give to others. I hope to accomplish many things with this blog. I will use it to encourage myself to actually carve some time out of the week and spend it in the wood shop, I will talk about my projects, thought processes, techniques and tools. I will share successes and mistakes. I hope it will be another adventure and I encourage you to join me along the way.
