Welcome to the new and improved blog for Blue Spruce Toolworks!
This is not Dave. This is his daughter Hannah, home for the summer and happily employed. My job is to do anything Dave tells me to do. This includes some basic office work, running errands, my normal tool roll production, and all things technological. So, basically everything he doesn’t have time (or desire) to do. Creating a new blog fell into this category.
We found out that our current blog host was discontinuing its blog service about a week before our blog was terminated. So, this past week has been me frantically learning about CSV, CSS, HTML, and any other string of letters you can think of, and drinking lots of coffee.
I learned a hard lesson very quickly: I don’t know how to code.
After hours of reading through forums and smashing my head against the keyboard, I think I have gotten the hang of plugins, widgets, and style sheets. The blog is not perfectly formatted yet because I ran out of time to learn the coding necessary to tweak the last few details. However, the blog is fully functional and ready to be explored! The important feature to notice is the subscribe button in the right hand side bar. If you enter your email, you will receive email notifications whenever there is a post to this blog. It is a super easy way to make sure you don’t miss a post. (If you received an email about this post, you are already subscribed.)

I may post here a few times throughout the summer to give updates and insights about the comings and goings here at the headquarters for Blue Spruce Toolworks (I will have to check with the boss
