Micro-Combination Square and Micro-Double Square (Shipping March 2025)

The Blue Spruce Toolworks Micro-Squares go where other squares just can't, fitting in the narrow openings of your precision joinery.  Both the combination square and the double square include two blades, one 1/2" wide and one 1/4" wide. The 1/4" blade is perfect for checking the cheeks of tiny dovetail sockets and the walls of mortises. The 1/2" blade handles the more general work such as layout, machinery adjustment and checking edges. Beyond fitting in tight quarters, the Micro-Squares will become your favorite simply because they're easy to have with you all the time. Either one drops in an apron or jeans pocket so you're always ready to go. 

The Micro-Combination Square brings 140+ years of proven versatility to your palm. Check square and 45° instantly. The size and balance are perfect for laying out hand cut joinery on small casework. 

The Micro-Double Square has a slightly longer beam than the combination square and is always ready to read square, no matter how you pick it up.  

Switching between the normal blade and the skinny blade couldn't be easier. Just loosen the clamping knob, slide the blade out and slide the other in. The 1/4" blade takes the Micro-Squares to a new level. Now you can reach inside your joinery and see precisely where you need to adjust for the perfect fit. 

Simple designs; Exacting accuracy. The heads and blades of the Blue Spruce Micro-Squares are machined from stainless steel. The clamp that secures the blade to the head is turned from brass to prevent wear on the blades. Both styles are supplied complete with a wall-mountable Rack-It to keep your Micro-Square right in plain sight and always ready for work. 

Like all Blue Spruce products, the Micro-Squares are precisely machined and carefully inspected right here in our Strongsville, Ohio, facility just south of Cleveland.
