Our burnisher is 3/8" Solid Carbide; we didn't want to settle for anything less. We found that solid carbide pulls a consistent, razor-sharp hook and does it faster and easier than any other material tested.  The dual-handle burnisher is available with your choice of wood for the handle, resin-infused Figured Maple or Bolivian Rosewood.
