Hitting the Road
Every year about this time I tell myself that next year will be different. Next year I will be all ready. Next year I will be sipping on a beverage the night before, tools and clothes all packed, coffee pot set for 3:30 am and I'll be feeling good. However, there is now only one week to go and I think it will once again be the usual mad rush to be ready for Woodworking in America, or WIA. Tools need to be finished, more business cards need to be printed, display materials spiffed up and new products made ready. Even so, I am feeling good. I very much look forward to meeting new friends and talking with them about tools, woodworking, and life in general. I look forward to seeing my fellow toolmaking friends. And this year, I look forward to seeing my copy of “To Make as Perfectly as Possible: Roubo on Marquetry”. This year we will have a few surprises, a new product, and some special edition tools. There will also be a raffle for a nice dovetail chisel. I can't say too much now but I will blog about it next week. Stay tuned and I hope to see some of you at WIA.
