Blue Spruce Round Mallets feature a maple head infused with a tough polymer resin that increases the density of the maple by 80%. The infused head puts more “smack” into less space, making them a real monster of a mallet when compared to simple wooden headed mallets. This tool will feel like an extension of your hand, with just the right heft and balance to deliver the exact amount of force needed…finesse and power in perfect combination. In addition to concentrating power, the resin protects the wood fibers from compression, keeping the mallet looking as good as new even after chopping hundreds of dovetails and mortises.

A machined steel rod has been epoxied in place that extends deep into both sections, adding more mass and rigidity to the mallet.
