Catching Up

It has been awhile since my last blog and I have a few updates for you.

Blue Spruce Toolworks has moved into a new shop! After 8 years in a one and then two car garage we ran out of expansion room. I moved the shop about 15 miles from my home to Sandy, Oregon, the self proclaimed "Gateway to Mount Hood". It is a nice little town on the way up to the mountains with lovely views of Mount Hood in the Pacific Cascade Mountain Range.

I will give a shop tour in a future post but it is great to have more room, an attached office and an attached bathroom!

I am continuing to struggle with getting the Bench and Butt Chisels back on the market but there is progress! Look for a re-introduction sometime in June. I have quite a few back orders and inquiries so if you are interested, please send me an email to be included on the notification list. I will also give an update here on the blog.

The new Firmer Chisels are also getting close. Don't give up!

I am very much looking forward to the Handworks show in Amana, Iowa May 24th and 25th. If at all possible, I urge you to get there. It will be a festive, fun, and laid back hand tool extravaganza. Blue Spruce Toolworks is also donating a 6-piece dovetail set and a mallet as a door prize so don't miss out.
